These terms govern your use of ConsultantExpert, operated by LD Groupe Digital inc. ("we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them.
ConsultantExpert is a paid directory that connects companies with independent senior technology consultants (10+ years of experience). We verify each consultant's identity and let companies unlock full profiles for a fee. We are not an employment agency, a staffing firm, or a party to any contract between a company and a consultant — that agreement is strictly between the two of them.
Consultants join free by signing in with LinkedIn — this is the only way to create a consultant account. The information you provide (specialty, experience, skills, rate, bio, video, work history, government ID) must be accurate. We review submissions before a profile goes live and may reject or remove a profile that is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these terms.
Companies create an account with a work email and pay to unlock consultant profiles: $49 for a single unlock, or a monthly plan (10 unlocks per month) at $299 billed monthly or $249 per month billed yearly. Additional unlocks beyond the monthly plan's allowance cost $39 each. There is no "unlimited" plan. Once unlocked, a profile is yours to view again at any time — we do not take it back.
Information from an unlocked profile may be used to place that consultant on a real engagement — for your own team, or with one of your clients if you operate a staffing or recruiting business. You agree not to bulk-export or resell the information as a contact list, not to scrape profiles, and not to use the service to build a competing directory. We log which company unlocks which profile.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Unlock fees are for information delivered immediately upon unlock and are generally non-refundable once a profile has been revealed, except where required by law. A monthly plan can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
We verify identity and the information a consultant provides, but we do not guarantee a consultant's availability, performance, or fit for your project, and we are not responsible for the outcome of any engagement between a company and a consultant.
Consultants keep ownership of their bio, photo, and video. By submitting them, a consultant grants us a license to display that content, with our watermark, to companies that unlock their profile, for as long as the profile remains active or the account is not deleted.
We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, provides false information, or misuses the service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, LD Groupe Digital inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ConsultantExpert.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
